GULLS @ Rangers - Season Opener

The GULLS kicked off their 10th season once again on the road, once again facing the Rangers. After the dust had settled, 3 first NSMBHL goal pucks were given away to Matthew Hebert, Reece Peitzsche and Michael O’Brien - helping the GULLS earn a big W in the season opener. With 2 goals, Michael O’Brien earns himself the Pepto Bismol Goring Lid of Fame as the Player of the Game.

Whalers @ GULLS - Home Opener

The fountain arena was packed, all in anticipation of the 2019 home opener! And the boys did not disappoint. In a very physical, high energy game, the GULLS earned themselves another 2 points. Bailey Shortall earns the pink lid with a goal and an assist.

With a 4 point weekend in the books, the GULLS look ahead to a pair of road games next weekend where they will square off against the Cole Harbour Pro Hockey Life Storm on Saturday at 7 PM at Cole Harbour Place. Then it’s off to New Glasgow on Sunday as the boys play the Wear Well Bombers at 11:30 AM at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
