WEEKEND RECAP - Oct 19 & 20 2019

Wildcats @ GULLS

After a Thanksgiving weekend break, the GULLS were back in action at home on Saturday night against the visiting Kings Mutual Valley Wildcats. Scoring was spread around, giving Avery MacLeod and Ben Robertson were given their first NSMBHL goal pucks! Despite being down early in the game, the Wildcats were able to battle back and hand the GULLS their first loss of the season.

GULLS @ Bearcats

The Sunday matinee saw the GULLS travel to Truro to face the Bearcats. Despite a late power play in the 3rd for a chance to tie it, Truro was able to pot a couple of empty netters to take the game 5-2.

The boys look to shake off a couple losses as they prepare for the annual Cape Breton road trip with a pair of games against the Joneljim Cougars.
